Please read the shipping and return / cancellation policies completely before purchasing.

By purchasing any products from this website, you are acknowledging & agree to all policies & statements posted on this website by Danger Kitty Shoebox.

The quality of our shoes is very important to us, and we will always try and put the best quality high fashions shoes on the website for you to choose from.  We will continue to add to our collection frequently, so please bookmark us and check back often. 

Currently for most of our products, we are only accepting returns where the wrong item was sent by us or the manufacturer, or items that have a manufacturers defect. Please read the definitions & additional details below. We are sorry for any inconvenience. But unfortunately, due to the amount of people who have been dishonest, we have had to go by the stricter manufacturers policies.

Many of our item's get made and shipped directly from our manufacturers warehouses.  PLEASE, do not send any items back to the address on the package.  Doing so may result in the package getting lost, and we will not receive the product.  It is your responsibility to contact us regarding any returns/exchanges to get the correct address and return number if approved, as stated on the website.  We are not responsible for lost packages due to failure in contacting us as per our policies.  We NEVER take any packages back without prior approval, return number, and a correct address for shipping.  Buyers will be reponsible for all shipping charges that are incurred by this, and are responsible for locating the package if it was sent to the wrong address due to failure of contacting us for this information.  We do not want our customers to have to go through this hassle, so we cannot stress this enough!  It's a very simple process, so please contact us, and we would be happy to help you determine whether or not an item can be returned or exchanged and where to send it to.

Manufacturers Defect: If you get a product that is defective, please contact us within 5 days after receiving the item for instructions. We will ONLY send a replacement of the same style, size, material & color (unless that item is no longer available) after we receive the item back, WE inspect it, AND the manufacturer inspects it, and it is found to be a manufacturers defect.

Items must be unused and in original packaging with any tags still attached. By LAW, for sanitary reasons we cannot & will not take back any Lingerie, hosiery, undergarments, swimwear, and other intimate item's which have been used or worn due to the nature of the products.  Any items that have any wear, stains, smells or rips will be shipped back to the customer at their expense.

Once again, all other items such as costumes and outerwear clothing will only be replaced in the same style, size, material, & color ONLY if it is found to have a manufacturing defect. IF, an exception is made regarding the return of an item by the management of Danger Kitty Shoebox, the returned item can & will be subject to a minimum 25% (up to 50%) restocking fee & all shipping fees are to be paid the customer. Shipping is not refundable.

We need to be notified within 5 business days of receipt of any item for the exchange of an identical item as per the terms setforth in the paragraph above. So again, please choose your STYLES, SIZES, MATERIALS, & COLORS very carefully.

Any & ALL returns sent back without prior authorization and instructions will be refused and all shipping costs will be paid by the buyer.

If an item is on backorder for more than 30 days, you can request that an item be exchanged for another item of your choice of equal or lesser value. Even if it's less than 30 days we would be happy to replace it with a different item as long as the item originally ordered has not yet been shipped. NO OTHER EXCHANGES WILL BE ACCEPTED FOR ANY REASON.   If  we are not notified of the change PRIOR to the original item being shipped, we cannot exchange it for another item.

Shipping costs cannot be refunded. We are not responsible for item's being late or lost due to problems with the delivery service. If you need an item by a certain date, please contact us as soon as possible for express shipping options.   We are always happy to help you with this, and suggest getting any items express shipped that are time sensitive.  As most of us know that have done any amount of shipping, it can take as little as 2 days, or as many as 20 business days at times for the shipping companies to deliver.  You just never know with standard ground shipping, so please estimate at the outside in order to not be dissapointed or choose an express shipping option.

The shipping companies (UPS, Fed Ed, USPS, etc.) are soley responsible for backing thier guarantees. We can only take care of thing's on our end, and are not responsibe for delivery service errors. We will do our best to provide you with any information we can, including tracking number's whenever available & if requested.

Please read our Shipping policy. We do not accept ANY cancellations once an order has been placed. Partly due to the fact that we frequently have items "Made to Order" for our customers. These items get made for a particular customer after the order has been placed, & are not mass produced items that are pre-made & sitting on a shelf. Also, some items may be shipped directly from the manufacturer. So please make sure that you really want & are ready to purchase the item(s) in your order, and that you understand delivery time frames vary for many reasons. Under certain circumstances we may approve a cancellation, and the customer will be charged a 40% (up to 50%)re-stocking and administration fee. A 40% fee will be charged is an item has already been made and the order is cancelled.  We still have to pay our manufacturers for this item.  Please, we cannot stress enough, only place an order if you are sure that you want to purchase the item. If the item has already been shipped, the customer will pay for any shipping costs or stop shippment fee that we are charged by the shipping company. Unfortunately because of the abuse of many items being returned AFTER being worn by a customer, or a customer purchasing multiple items with the intent to keep only the items which they like best, many companies have had to adhere to our manufacturers stricter return policies to stay in business. We hope that you understand why we have these polices, and we have to pass on the policies made by the manufacturers of the products.

Most clothing items are very easy to fit if you know your size. About 98% of the items have stretch added to them, regardless of what fabric they are made of. This really helps to insure a better and easier fit.  If you choose a shoe with a pointed or narrow end toe, it's usually best to choose at least a half size larger than normal.  Open toe shoes are normally worn at your regular size.  If you typically wear a half size shoe and pick a shoe that isnt made in half sizes, please choose the half size up. 

We are always happy to help answer any questions regarding sizing or other information on our products, & we encourage you to do this if you are unsure or question the sizing on any item.  We cannot be responsible for an item not fitting as the sizing is not an exact science.  Every person is different due to height, weight and shape, and it's impossible for an item to fit everyone in that size range exactly.  We get our sizing directly from our manufacturers, and they post what they feel is the best size for that garment due to their experience.  Please contact us with your measurements prior to ordering if your not sure, and we would be happy to help you determine what would be the best size for you based on the information you give us. 

All shoes beginning with a "K" in the product code are "made to order', and are made specifically for each customer after the order is placed.  They are excellent quality shoes, with a high quality foot bed construction and typically take 5-8 business days to be made prior to shipping out.  Please allow this amount of time for these items to be made when ordering.  After the shoes are completed they may be express shipped if needed.  All other shoes are stocked and typically ready to ship within 1-3 business days after placing your order.   Many of our items are unique and some are exclusive to our website.  We are very picky about the shoes that we sell on our website, and will only sell shoes that we find to be of excellent quality.  We know that you can find shoes at some stores for $20.00-$30.00, and we believe that you get what you pay for.  We will only put shoes on our website that are high quality shoes and sell them for the best price that we can.  We will continue to try and add to our collection on a regular basis, and keep our website stocked with the newest and most up to date styles for our customers to choose from.

Because of the uniqueness of many of our items & the fact that many are made for our customers after ordering, we cannot take returns do to ordering the wrong size, accidentally ordering the wrong item, or change of mind. We will however, always stand by our items, & will always replace an item that has been sent to you with a manufacturers defect.

If for some reason you get an item with a manufacturers defect, please contact us for retrurn instructions & the correct address to send it back to. Failure to do so will result in the immediate refusal of the package & it will be returned to you by the shipping company.

We have the right to refuse service to anyone. Please treat us as you would like to be treated yourself. :) Your business is extremely important to us, and we really do our best to offer only high quality items, and give you the best customer service we can.
